Hindi bababa sa 12 katao ang nasawi at 33 ang nasugatan, nang tamaan ng isang Russian missile ang isang regional government building sa southern Ukrainian city ng Mykolaiv.

Ang strike na tumama sa siyam na palapag na gusali ilang sandali bago mag alas-9:00 ng umaga (local time), ay sumira sa kabuuan ng gitnang bahagi ng istraktura.

Ayon sa emergencies agency ng Ukraine . . . “The bodies of 12 people have been recovered from the site of the destruction and 33 people have been injured.”

Kinondena naman ni Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ang naturang pag-atake.

Aniya . . . “The residents of Mykolaiv posed no threat to Russia. And despite all this, like all Ukrainians, they became the targets of Russian troops.”

Ang Mykolaiv ay nasa daang patungo sa Odessa, ang pinakamalaking pantalan sa timog ng Ukraine.

Ang front line sa rehiyon ay lumipat kamakailan sa timog-silangan sa Mykolaiv, na matatagpuan malapit sa Kherson, ang tanging pangunahing lungsod sa Ukraine na inaangkin ng Russia na ganap nilang nakontrol mula noong nagsimula ang digmaan mahigit isang buwan na ang nakalipas.
