Pagbubukas ng Mindanao Regional Leg ng Philippine ROTC Games, pinangunahan ni Vice President Sara Duterte
Nagpasalamat si ROTC Games Honorary Chairman at Senator Francis Tolentino sa presensiya ni bise presidente Sara Duterte sa pagbubukas ng Mindanao Regional Leg ng Philippine ROTC Games sa Joaquin F. Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex sa Zamboanga City.
Sinabi ni Tolentino, “It’s truly significant since she is a genuine advocate of youth and sports development through military service.”

Sinabi naman ng bise presidente na isa ring Army Colonel reservist sa mga kadeteng kalahok, “Be a role model in discipline. That’s why we are supporting ROTC.”

Sa kaniya namang talumpati na binasa ni Ginoong Kirsten Evan Regodon, PSC Consultant ay sinabi ni Philippine Sports Commission chairman Richard Bachmann, “As we watch our cadet athletes compete over the next few days, let us remember that they are not just representing their schools, but also their communities, their families, and their dreams for a better and more prosperous Philippines. I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, coaches, and personnel who have worked tirelessly to ensure the success of these games.”
Ang tema ng torneo ay “Tibay at Galing ay Pagyamanin, Suportahan ang Palarong ROTC Natin,” na isang kolaborasyon sa lokal na pamahalaan ng Zamboanga City, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Mayor John Dalipe.

Ang torch relay at lighting of cauldron ay pinangunahan ng World at Asian champions athletes na sina Rose Jean Ramos, Rosegie Ramos, Albert Ian Delos Santos, Angeline Colonia, Rosalinda Faustino, Alexzandra Ann Diaz, at Jhodie Peralta mula sa City Government ng Zamboanga.
