Sumadsad ang isang barge sa sand bar sa Bar Bais city, Negros Oriental.

Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard, patungong Campuyo, Manjuyod, Negros Oriental mula Semirara, Antique.

Ang nasabing barge ay may sakay na 1600 metric tons ng industrial coal ng maganap ang insidente.

Sa inisyal na imbestigasyon nahirapan umano ang tug boat na humihila sa barge matapos pumulupot ang towing rope sa propeller at hindi nito mai-maniobra ang barge.
