Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin sinigurong hindi makikialam ang Palasyo sa pagdinig ng DOJ sa mga reklamo vs VP Sara
Bibigyan ng Malacañang ng “fullest autonomy” ang Department of Justice (DOJ), sa pagdinig sa mga reklamong isinampa ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) laban kay Vice- President Sara Duterte.
Si VP Sara ay ipinagharap ng NBI sa DOJ ng mga reklamong inciting to sedition at grave threats, dahil sa sinasabing pagbabanta sa buhay ng first couple at ng House speaker.
Sa isang panayam, tiniyak ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin na hindi nila pakikialaman ang DOJ sa imbestigasyon nito sa mga reklamo.
Ayon kay Bersamin, hahayaan ng Palasyo na umusad ang mga proseso sa DOJ.
Aniya, hindi magdidikta ang Malacañang sa gagawin ng DOJ na pagdetermina kung talagang aktuwal na pagbabanta ang mga pahayag na binitiwan ng bise-presidente.
Sinabi ni Bersamin, “We are going to ket the process proceed on its own because this is about a criminal investigation.The Department of Justice will have the fullest autonomy. We cannot give directions as far as this matter go. W e will leave that to the hands of the investigators. This process will have to go through the full course if ever that matter is taken officially cognizance of.”
