Flight ops sa Davao International Airport balik normal na matapos makumpleto ang rehab ng runway
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has announced the completion of the rehabilitation of the Davao International Airport runway ahead of its initial target schedule of May 31, 2024./CAAP/
Inanunsiyo ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), na tapos na ang rehabilitasyon ng runway ng Davao International Airport.
Ayon sa CAAP, bagama’t ongoing pa ang “minor rectifications,” ang notice sa airmen ay nakatakda nang alisin bago ang orihinal na target date na May 31, kung saan ang flight operations ay maaari nang bumalik sa normal.
Sinabi ni CAAP Area Center Manager Rex Obcena, “The ‘minor rectifications’ are to be conducted during the daytime ‘when there are no flights’, in close coordination with the air traffic control tower.”
Ang rehabilitation work sa runway ay kinabibilangan ng pagtatanggal at pagpapalit ng sira nang asphalt pavement at repainting.
Sarado ang runway simula pa noong April 8, upang sumailalim sa rehabilitasyon apat na oras bawat araw.
