Hindi bababa sa 24 katao ang namatay at mahigit sa 40 ang nasaktan sa nangyaring pagsabog ng bomba sa isang istasyon ng tren sa Quetta sa southwestern Pakistan.

Sinabi ni Balochistan police Inspector general Mouzzam Jah Ansari, “The target was army personnel from the Infantry School, and many of the injured in critical condition.”

Ayon naman kay Dr. Wasim Baig, isang hospital spokesman, “So far 44 injured people have been brought to civil hospital.”

Paliwanag ni senior superintendent of police operations, Muhammad Baloch, ang pagsabog ay tila isang kaso ng suicide bombing, at nagsasagawa na rin sila ng imbestigasyon upang makakuha ng dagdag na mga impormasyon.

Aniya, “The blast took place inside the railway station when the Peshawar-bound express was about to leave for its destination.”

Noong Agosto, hindi bababa sa 73 katao ang namatay sa Balochistan province, matapos atakihin ng separatist militants ang mga istasyon ng pulis, mga railway line at mga highway.
