Mala-Pastillas scheme sa BI, tila nagbabalik ayon kay SOJ Remulla
Iniimbestigahan na ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang mga bago at seryosong alegasyon ng kurapsyon sa loob ng Bureau of Immigration (BI).
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla, ang mga gawain na ito na kaniyang iniutos na imbestigahan ay mga “escort service” na mahahalintulad sa dating Pastillas modus.
“We are looking at a big scheme that is as big as the Pastillas that maybe happening right now in the airport i am asking the NBI to really look into this and serious allegations have been made the operation of a syndicate again within the bureau of investigation.” pahayag ni Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla
Sinabi ng kalihim na wala na sana ang mga nasabing problema pero tila nabubuhay muli ang mala-Pastillas scheme sa BI dahil may mga immigration personnel na sariling interes at mga bulsa ang gustong paglingkuran.
“Kasi yung pastillas is a form of escort service that was practiced before parang bumabalik resurgence and very creative ways of doing it but we’re looking at it right now. Yung escorting service ang aming tinitingnan escorting people in and out those with problems in their visas passport are being escorted in and out of our gates by unscrupulous BI officials and syndicates” ayon pa sa Kalihim
Binalaan ng kalihim ang mga tiwaling BI personnel at tiniyak na hindi nila kukunsintihin ang mga nasabing iligal na gawain lalo na’t ang mga ito ang nagbabantay sa border ng bansa.
“Di pwede yan these are sovereign functions that they fulfill these are the boundaries of the country whch represents our integrity as a country our territory and we cannot allow this kind of behavior to remain.” dagdag pa aniya ng Kalihim
