Nagpaabot na ng pakikiramay ang gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa mga biktima ng terror attack sa Barcelona Spain.

Sa statement na inilabas ng Malakanyang sa pamamagitan ni Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella mariing kinokondena ng Pilipinas ang terror attack sa Barcelona na ikinamatay ng 13 katao at ikinasugat ng mahigit 100 iba pa.

Sinabi ni Abella na patuloy na inaalam ng konsulada ng Pilipinas sa Spain kung mayroong pang mga pinoy na nadamay maliban sa napaulat na 4 na Filipino Irish ang kasama sa nasugatan.

Ang Barcelona terror attack gamit ang isang van na sumagasa sa mga tao ay inako ng international terrorist group na Islamic State of Iran and Syria o ISIS.

“Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the innocent victims who perished and those who got injured in Barcelona.



We are one with the peace-loving people of the international community in condemning this latest attack in Spain on Thursday that left at least 13 people dead and injured more than 100 others.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), through our Philippine Embassy in Madrid and the Honorary Consulate in Barcelona is closely monitoring the situation and has been in touch with the authorities and leaders of the Filipino community.

It has expressed its condolences to the Spanish Government following the incident that left 4 Irish citizens of Filipino descent injured”. – Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella
