Medical frontliners at essential workers, kinilala ni PRRD sa pagdiriwang ng Pambansang Araw ng mga Bayani
Binigyang pugay ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga bayaning Filipino sa pagdiriwang ng National Heroes Day ngayong araw.
Naging kinatawan ng Pangulo sa pagdiriwang ng National Heroes Day sa isang simpleng seremonya sa Libingan ng mga Bayani si Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.
Nagbigay ng taped video message ang Pangulo sa paggunita sa Araw ng mga Bayani.
Sa kanyang mensahe, kinilala ng Pangulo ang sakripisyo ng Medical Frontliners at Essential Workers ngayong panahon ng pandemya ng COVID 19-
Ayon sa Pangulo sila ay mga bagong bayani dahil sa kanilang sakripisyo at serbisyo para sa kapakanan ng publiko kung saan ilan sa kanila ay nagbuwis na ng buhay.

“I join the entire Filipino nation in celebrating National Heroes Day. With pride and joy, we honor the noble sacrifices of our ancestors who fought to celebrate our country and establish the thriving democracy that we are today”.
“As we overcome the Covid-19 pandemic, let us honor our modern day heroes, our medical frontliners and all essential workers who sacrifice their lives, comfort and security to serve our fellow Filipinos“.
“May we all learn from the valiant example of the past and present heroes and build on them to achieve a stronger future for all.
