Pagkakaaresto sa terrorism financing facilitator sa Sulu, makatutulong para maalis ang PH sa grey list-ATC
Ikinatuwa ng Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC) ang pagkakahuli sa Sulu ng terrorism financing facilitator na si Myrna A. Mabanza.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ng ATC na isa positibong development sa whole- of-nation campaign ng pamahalaan laban sa terorismo at terrorism financing ang pagkakaaresto kay Mabanza.
Sa pahayag ng Anti-Terrorism Council “Mabanza’s arrest marks another positive notefor the Philippines’ whole-of-nation campaign to address terrorism and terrorism financing that will reflect well to contribute in the country’s unyielding efforts to get out of the Financial Action Task Force’s Grey List.”
Tiwala rin ang ATC na makatutulong ito para maalis ang Pilipinas sa Grey List ng Financial Action Task Force.
May limang standing arrest warrant si Mabanza sa korte sa Zamboanga City dahil sa mga paglabag sa Anti- Terror law at Terrorism Financing Prevention and Suppression Act.
