Paglalagay ng Kadiwa Center sa lahat ng Barangay sa buong bansa isinusulong sa Kamara
Dahil sa pabago-bago ang presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin sa bansa kailangan na talaga ang intervention ng gobyerno para sa kapakinabangan ng mga magsasaka at ordinaryong mamamayan.
Itinutulak ngayon sa Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso ang panukalang batas para maging institutionalize ang Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita Stores sa Barangay level upang tulungan ang mga consumers at magsasaka.
Dahil dito hiniling ni Congressman Patrick Michael Vargas sa House Committee on Agriculture and Foods na talakayin na ang nakabinbing mga panukalang batas for Institutionalizing Kadiwa Stores in Every Barangay Act of 2023.
Ayon sa mambabatas napatunayan na epektibo ang Kadiwa stores sa pagsuporta sa mga lokal na magsasaka at pagtulong sa publiko na makabili ng mas murang basic commodities kumpara sa mga regular na palengke.
Naniniwala rin ang kongresista na bukod sa food security ay magreresulta ito sa paglikha ng trabaho, mas mataas na produksyon ng mga magsasaka at mababawasan ang bottleneck sa food chain.
Magsisilbing magandang regalo para sa mga consumers at magsasaka ang pagkakaroon ng Kadiwa rolling stores sa bawat Barangay dahil sa halip na gumastos sa pamasahe papuntang palengke ay magagamit na ang pera sa pagbili ng pagkain sa komunidad.
Magiging win-win solution ang permanenteng pagtatatag ng Kadiwa Stores sa Barangay lalo na sa mga local suppliers at consumers upang makaagapay ang publiko sa tumataas na presyo ng pagkain

To help Filipinos stay within the budget, we are pushing for the institutionalization of Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita Stores at the barangay level, while providing better opportunities to local farmers.
We have witnessed how these Kadiwa stores effectively help the public buy basic commodities at lower prices compared to those being sold in regular markets.
The idea of having these stores permanently is a win-win solution to local suppliers and consumers especially now that prices of goods are on the steady rise.
We intend to bring these rolling stores in respective communities to further lessen the expenses shouldered by the consuming public. Instead of spending for transportation cost, they could use the amount for more food items for the family.
President Bongbong Marcos, through the Department of Agriculture, revived the Kadiwa program last year after a spike in prices of basic food products due to the pandemic. The President further calls for government support to local farmers and buy goods from them.
This effort will also result to job generation, increased production of our local farmers, and lesser bottlenecks in our food chain.
