Task Force PhilHealth irerekomenda sa Pangulo ang pagtatalaga ng Interim Management Committee para sa PhilHealth
Ipapanukala ng Task Force PhilHealth kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagkakaroon ng interim management committee para sa PhilHealth.
Isa ito sa mga naisip ng Task Force na irekomenda sa presidente para matugunan ang mga systemic problems sa loob ng korporasyon.
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, mahihirapang resolbahin ang mga problema sa PhilHealth kung ang mga taong may interes na panatilihin ang kasalukuyang istruktura at sistema ay mananatili sa kanilang posisyon.
Sinabi ni Guevarra na ang Governance Commission for GOCCs o GCG ay may mandato na magpatupad ng organizational changes sa mga GOCCs gaya ng PhilHealth.
Dahil dito, irerekomenda anya ng Task Force sa Pangulo na atasan ang GCG na ikonsidera ang pagtatalaga ng interim management committee para sa PhilHealth bukod sa iba pang hakbang para mapalakas ang korporasyon.
Dagdag pa ng kalihim, ang GCG ang magdi-determima kung sinu-sino ang bubuo sa interim management committee at ang kanilang terms of reference.
Quote Justice Sec.Guevarra:
“We thought of an interim management committee for philhealth in view of the apparent systemic problems that will be difficult to resolve if the people who have an interest to keep the present structure and systems will remain in their present positions. the GCG, which is under the OP, has the statutory mandate to institute organizational changes in GOCCs. so we are recommending to the president that the GCG be directed to consider this measure, among others, as part of overall efforts to strengthen philhealth. the details, such as who will comprise such interim management committee, their terms of reference, etc, will be determined by the GCG itself”.
