18 institusyon kakatuwangin ng SEC para sa financial literacy campaign
Makakatuwang ng Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) ang 18 institusyon para mapalawig pa ang financial literacy campaign nito.
Layunin ng kampanya na mahimok ang mga Pilipino na ilagay ang kanilang salapi sa safe at secure na investments at maprotektahan ang mamamayan mula sa mga “get-rich-quick” schemes at iba pang scams.
Sa report ng SEC sa Department of Finance, sinabi na ang pinakahuli nitong financial literacy campaign sa social media ay naabot ang halos isang milyong katao.
Ang mga bagong partners ng SEC sa kampanya ay ang Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP), Good Governance Advocates and Practitioners of the Philippines (GGAPP), Investment House Association of the Philippines (IHAP), Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp. (PDEx), Philippine Finance Association (PFA), Philippine Medical Association (PMA) at Junior Financial Executives-PUP (JFINEX-PUP).
Kabilang naman sa pioneer partners ng SEC ay ang Philippine Stock Exchange Inc. (PSE), Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), Clark Development Corp. (CDC), National Youth Commission (NYC), Philippine Investment Fund Association (PIFA), Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP).
