221 million pesos naipamahagi na ng DSWD sa 98k na benepisaryo ng cash assistance
Naibigay na ng Department of Social Welfare and Development o DSWD ang 221 million pesos na pondo sa mahigit 98 thousand na benepisaryo ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation o AICS sa ilalim ng Bagong Pilipinas Service Caravan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.
Sinabi ni DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian ang 98 thousand na nakatanggap ng cash assistance ay bahagi ng 322,689 na benepisaryo ng AICS na nagparehistro sa portal ng Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair o BPSF na inilunsad ng Pangulo noong September 23 hanggang 24 ng taong kasalukuyan sa mga lalawigan ng Ilocos Norte, Camarines Sur, Leyte at Davao de Oro.
Batay sa record ng DSWD ang lalawigan ng Leyte ang may pinakamaring benepisaryo ng AICS na umabot sa 48,018 sumunod ang Ilocos Norte 26,353, Camarines Sur 12,264 at Davao de Oro 11,457.
Ang Bagong Pilipinas Service Caravan ay naglalayong tulungan ang mga mahihirap na mamayan sa 82 probinsiya ng bansa.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) distributed a total of php 221,066,400 to 98,092 clients under the DSWD’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) during the Bagong Pilipinas Service Caravan.
The 98,092 AICS beneficiaries were part of the 322,689 beneficiaries registered in the portal of the “Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair” (BPSF) during the September 23-24 kick-off in Ilocos Norte, Camarines Sur, Leyte and Davao de Oro.
Of the total php 221,066,400 in AICS, Leyte beneficiaries got the lion share at php 97,916,000; Ilocos Norte at php 77,843,000; Camarines Sur at php24,528,000 and Davao de Oro at php20,779,400.
The Bagong Pilipinas Caravan is the country’s biggest service caravan aimed at providing major government services to less fortunate Filipinos in various communities across the country.
The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. will bring the Bagong Pilipinas Service Caravan to all 82 provinces in the Philippines following the resounding success of its launching.
