This facility will teach our people navigation, Law Enforcement, maintenance of ships.”
Ayon kay Vice Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan, PCG Deputy Commandant for Administration, 6 years in the making ang proyekto na ito.
”Actually this started in 2012 when we work on the expansion of PCG fleet. We saw that time that we might grow 3 folds, and at that time we didn’t have the capacity to train our people.” dugtong pa aniya
Ayon naman kay US Ambassador to the Philippines Marykay Carlson, ang proyekto na ito ay bahagi ng commitment ng US sa Pilipinas bilang isang matatag na kaibigan
“I’ts really important that we have long term committment to the PCG to the people of the philippines because we are truly your steadfast friends partners in prosperity and iron clad allies.” pahayag ni US Ambassador to the Philippines Marykay Carlson
“This facility will train the assets that preserve maritime safety protect the maritime and marine environment and defend philippine sovereign rights on the water surrounding the philippines including the West Philippine Sea.” saad pa ni Ambassador Carlson.
