Dalawa katao ang namatay at siyam na iba pa ang nasaktan nang sumalpok ang isang freight train sa isang tren na nagsasagawa ng test run sa labas ng kapitolyo ng Chile.

Namatay naman ang driver ng freight train at ang kaniyang assistant.
Batay sa pahayag ng EFE, “We regret to report the death of two workers on the freight train.”

Sinabi ni Prosecutor Pedro Aravena, “for reasons that are unknown” the test train was not aware the freight train was heading north in its direction.”
