DOJ at DILG, bumuo ng Joint committee na magrerebyu sa panuntunan sa GCTA
Bumuo na ang Department of Justice (DOJ) at Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) ng joint committee na magrerebyu sa mga panuntunan sa pagkakaloob ng Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA) sa mga bilanggo.
Ito ay batay sa ipinalabas na joint Department order no. 001 na may lagda nina Justice secretary Menardo Guevarra at Interior and Local government secretary Eduardo Año.
Partikular na rerebyuhin ng joint DOJ-DILG committee on the GCTA ang Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) at uniform policy and guidelines sa kompyutasyon ng time allowances sa ilalim ng Republic Act 10592.
Mayroong sampung araw ang Joint committee para tapusin ang rebyu at magsumite ng report at draft ng revised IRR at guidelines.
Kaugnay nito, iniutos sa joint DOJ-DILG order ang pansamantalang pagsuspinde sa pagproseso ng kompyutasyon ng GCTA ng mga inmates.
Ang joint committee on GCTA ay binubuo ng isang undersecretary mula sa DOJ na magsisilbing chairperson habang co-chair naman ang isang DILG Usec.
Miyembro naman ang Bureau of Corrections (Bucor) Chief, isang DOJ doj Assistant secretary, DILG Assistant secretary, Executive Director o isang kinatawan mula sa Board of Pardons and Parole (BPP), at tig-isang representative mula sa Parole and Probation administration, Technical staff at planning and management service mula sa DOJ.
