Europe shows inanunsiyo ni Lionel Richie

Sinabi ng U.S. music star na si Lionel Richie, na papunta siya sa aniya’y “best touring spot in the world,” sa susunod na taon, nang i-anunsiyo niya ang bago niyang UK at European concerts.
Ang “Say Hello To The Hits” tour ng Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, ay magsisimula sa Belfast sa May 31 at matatapos sa Madrid sa August 2.
Sa pagitan nito ay may mga shows siya sa London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin at iba pang European cities.
Sa isang panayam ay sinabi ni Richie, “It’s basically the best touring spot in the world. If you happen to build a loyal fan base in Europe and in Britain, you’ve got this for the rest of your life.’
Dagdag pa niya, “And I think for me, as far as I’m concerned, it’s like, welcome home is what I hear when I get to Belgium, and welcome home when I get to England and Scotland, it’s almost like I live there.”
Inihalintulad ni Richie, na kilala sa kaniyang hit songs gaya ng “Hello” at “Dancing on the Ceiling,” ang kaniyang concert tour sa isang holiday.
Ayon sa singer, “It’s my vacation. I look forward to it. It’s not work, it’s really just a play period that I go and hang out with all my friends in Europe.’
Ang 75-anyos, na nagsimula ng kaniyang career kasama ang Commodores bago nagsolo noong 1980s, ay nakapagbenta ng mahigit sa 125 milyong albums sa buong mundo.
Noong isang buwan, inanunsiyo niya na ang kaniyang “King of Hearts” residency sa Encore Theatre sa Las Vegas ay na-extend hanggang 2025.
Aniya, “As far as how did it stick for this long, only God knows. But, it’s really been a wonderful journey in the last 50 years.”
