Ilegal na kasunduan ng Facebook at Google, nabisto
Nabunyag mula sa US court documents ang pagkakasangkot ng Facebook at Google sa isang ilegal na kasunduan, na ang layunin ay dominahin ang online advertising market.
Batay sa isinampang anti-trust lawsuit, minanipula umano ng Google ang ad auctions para wala nang makakumpetensiya. Tinukoy sa legal documents ang chief ng Alphabet na parent firm ng Google. Dawit din sina Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg at CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Ayon sa isang tagapagsalita . . . “Meta’s non-exclusive bidding agreement with Google and the similar agreements we have with other bidding platforms, have helped to increase competition for ad placements. These business relationships enable Meta to deliver more value to advertisers while fairly compensating publishers, resulting in better outcomes for all.”
Ayon naman sa eMarketer, bagama’t tumataas ang ad revenue ng Google ay nakararanas naman ito ng pressure sa ad market dahil sa mga kakumpetensiya gaya ng Facebook, Amazon at iba pa.
