LVMH, magiging premium sponsor na rin ng 2024 Paris Olympics

Inanunsiyo ng French luxury brand na LVMH na magiging “premium sponsor” na rin sila ng 2024 Paris Olympics, na magbibigay pagkakataon sa organisers na maabot ang kanilang sponsorship target na 1.24 billion euros ($1.37 billion).

Ang LVMH ang naging ika-anim na top-tier domestic sponsor, kasama ng communications company na Orange, electricity provider na EDF, banking group na BPCE, pharmaceuticals company na Sanofi at retail giant na Carrefour.

Sinabi ni Antoine Arnault, isa sa limang anak at tagapagmana ng LVMH Chairman at CEO na si Bernard Arnault, “I have the honour of officially announcing that we are now committed to being a premium partner for the 2024 Paris Olympics.”

Ginawa niya ang anunsiyo sa isang news conference sa Paris na dinaluhan ni International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach, Paris 2024 chief organiser Tony Estanguet, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo at France sports minister Amelie Oudea-Castera.

Aniya, “There were many wild theories about the reasons why it took so long. We didn’t want to just be a financial partner, we wanted to have a role to play in the holding of these Olympic Games.”
