Mga graduate ng tech-voch training, kinilala ng TESDA
Kinilala ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), ang mga kabataang skilled worker at graduates ng tech-voc education and training (TVET), sa 2021 Philippine National Skills Competition (PNSC).
Sa kaniyang opening remarks sa Closing at Awarding ceremony ng PNSC sa Taguig City, sinabi ni TESDA Operations Deputy Director General Lina C. Sarmiento . . . “Essentially, this competition should be a learning experience for all of our competitors. And they will walk away with improved key employability skills such as effective teamwork and communication, problem-solving, and time management.”
Ang PNSC ay isang kompetisyon na nagsisilbing venue para makilala ang “skills excellence” ng kabataang skilled workers at graduates ng tech-voc education and training.
Bukod sa medals at certificates, ang gold medal winners ay makatatanggap din ng P30,000, habang ang Silver at Bronze medalists ay makatatanggap ng P20,000 at P15,000.
Kinilala ng ang TESDA-Region III bilang Overall Champion na nakakuha ng 19 medals.
Sa mga susunod na buwan, ang gold medalists ay magsisimula na ng kanilang serye ng organized training at paghahanda para sa World Skills Competition na gaganapin sa Shanghai sa 2022.
Ang Medalists ay magkakaroon ng training camp para sa mas komprehensibong paghahanda upang mas maging mentally, physically, at emotionally prepared sila para sa international competition.
Ayon kay TESDA Director General Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña . . . “After the year-long preparations from training to the competitions conducted from the provincial level up to the national level, we are now here today to select the best of the best and we have determined the best of the best in TESDA.”
Dagdag pa ni Lapeña . . . “Through this competition, you will be able to understand the importance of your skills and the value of continuous learning and has inspired everyone to level up with TESDA. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and remember to always bring the skills and traits of a TVET graduate, world-class and highly competent skilled worker.”
