Mislatel kayang magbigay ng internet speed hanggang 27 mpbs
Handa ang Mislatel consortium na tapatan ang lawak ng coveage ng smart at globe sa susunod na tatlong taon
Sa pagdinig ng senate committee on public services, sinabi ng Mislatel na sisimulan na nila ang paglalagay ng hanggang isanlibong mga cell sites sa loob ng labindalawang buwan
Ayon kay Atty. Adel Tamanao, spokesman ng Mislatel, target nilang matapos ang 37 percent nito sa unang taon pero maaring tumaas pa raw ito hanggang 84 percent sa loob ng limang taong operasyon sa Pilipinas.
Nangangahulugan din ito na makapagde deliver na sila ng internet speed na aabot sa 27 mbps.

Nauna nang tiniyak ng Department of Information and Communications Technology o DICT na maaring ma forfeit ang 24 billion performance bond ng kumpanya kapag nabigo na maibigay ang kanilang commitment.
Sa kasalukuyan kasing mga telco operations sa bansa, umaabot pa lang sa 70 percent ang sakop ng kanilang operations gayong dalawampung taon na silang nag-ooperate sa bansa.
Nanidigan Din ang Mislatel na ang kanilang kumpanya ay hindi pag –aari ng mga tsino at walang kinalaman ang pakikipagkabigan ng pangulo sa china sa pagkakapili sa kanila bilang ikatlong telco provider
“we want to assure the public that the company that we are setting up is a filipino company. in fact we are ready in setting meetings with the general counsel of the sec, bec we want to go through the proper process, we will submit with the binding agreements, which is the agreement on the equity share of the parties and we will also submit all the papers that we need in case of an increase of the capital stock of mislatel and we will comply with all the legal and consti requirements of having a filipino telecommunication company”
Tiniyak naman ng gobyerno na walang dapat ikabahala ang publiko sa pagpasok ng misatel.
May mga inilatag na safeguards ang pamahalaan para protektahan ang cyberspace at labanan ang umanoy pag hack ng kumpanya sa internet ng ilang bansa.
Ayon kay National Security Adviser Hermogenes Ssperon Jr. nagsagawa na rin sila ng cybersecurity sa Mislatel kasama na ang pag-alam sa background ng kumpanya batay sa itinatakda ng security provinsions ng saligang batas.
Pero sinabi ni Senador Grace Poe, kailangang maging malinaw pa rin ang isyu ng national security dahil sa foreign partner ng Mislatel.
Hindi aniya dapat maikompromiso ang segirdad ng bansa lalo na ang impormasyon ng mga pilipino
“we always have to be cautious with whoever composes ownership of our public utilities. is it china more? i mean there’s no denying of course there are questions raised about their interests in our country so we also have to protect ourselves.”
