Online posts na may paglabag, inalis na ng FDA
Inalis na ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA), ang 371 online posts na may mga paglabag, na nagbebenta ng gamot sa Lazada, Shopee, at Facebook.
Sinabi ni FDA Deputy Director Oscar Gutierrez, na halos doble ito ng bilang na naitala ng ahensiya noong 2020 kung saan 189 lamang na mga may paglabag na post ang kanilang tinanggal, habang 1, 642 naman noong 2021.
Ayon kay Gutierrez . . . “This means we recorded a 779 percent increase in removal compared to 2020.”
Aniya, nakipag-partner ang FDA sa Facebook at binuo ang FB Consumer Police Channel (CPC). Ito ang magbibigay-daan sa ahensiya para maiulat ang isang content na maaaring direktang may paglabag sa mga patakaran ng platform ng social media, at tanggalin o tanggihan ito.
Ani Gutierrez . . . “So right now, we just do it electronically through email. Then we receive confirmation that they received our report. Within five days after we endorse or report it to Facebook, they remove it — anything health product-related that is violative of our national policies.” .
Babala naman ni pangulong Rodrigo Duterte . . . “I am advising the Filipinos: Lay off these online shops. There are many thieves there.Their imagination can really go wild and think of a violation that is really swindling people.”
