Pagsibak ni Pangulong Duterte sa dalawang opisyal ng OPAPP, magsisilbing babala sa mga tiwaling opisyal ng gobyerno – Malakanyang
Walang pinipili ang Duterte Administration sa laban nito kontra korapsyon.
Ito ang babala ng Malacañang kasunod ng pagsibak ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kina Undersecretary Ronald Flores at Assistant Secretary Yeshter Donn Baccay dahil umano sa korapsyon sa Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process o OPAPP.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo patunay ang naging desisyon ng Pangulo na walang exempted sa mga opisyal ng gobyerno sa mataas na standard ng administrasyon pagdating sa Public service.
Sinabi ni Panelo na seryoso si Pangulong Duterte na linisin ang pamahalaan sa katiwalian bilang pagpapatupad ng reporma sa gobyerno.
Inihayag ni Panelo marami ng mga Presidential appointees ang inalis ng Pangulo dahil sa isyu ng korapsyon. on the dismissal of two OPAPP officials.
Statement of Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo :
“The President’s immediate termination of Mr. Ronald Flores, Undersecretary for Support Services and Pamana National Program Management Office (NPMO), and Atty. Yeshter Donn Baccay, Assistant Secretary for Support Services and Pamana Concerns, under the Office of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, serves as another warning to all government officials that no person is exempted from the Administration’s high and exacting standards of honesty in public service.
Their termination also underscores that the President remains resolute in stamping out corruption in the bureaucracy, which includes offices which are specialized in particular fields of governance. Like the war on drugs, the war on corruption must be fought unremittingly”.
