Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo si Lt. General Jose Faustino Jr. bilang bagong Chief of Staff ng Armed Forces of the Philippines o AFP .
Ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque , ito ay epektibo sa July 31.
Papalitan ni General Faustino si AFP Chief of Staff General Cirilito Sobejana na sumapit na sa mandatory retirement.
