Revenue generation proposal ng Duterte administration, ipapasa sa Marcos administration- Malakanyang
Bagama’t papatapos na ang termino ng Duterte Administration, mayroon pa ring inihandang panukala ang Economic team ni outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte. Ito ay may kaugnayan sa pagdaragdag ng revenue collection ng pamahalaan na binalangkas ng Department of Finance.
Sa isang statement sinabi ni Acting Presidential Spokesman Secretary Martin Andanar kabilang ang panukalang pagpapataw ng bagong pagbubuwis, pagpapaliban sa income tax reduction at pagbawi sa ilang tax exemptions.
Inihayag ni Andanar nais lamang tulungan ng Duterte administration ang papasok na administrasyon ni President-Elect Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. dahil kailangan talaga ng gobyerno ang dagdag na kita para matugunan ang problemang kinakaharap ng bansa kasama ang epektong dulot ng Pandemya ng COVID-19.
Niliwanag ni Andanar na nasa desisyon ng bagong economic team ng Bongbong Marcos administration kung susundin ang mga revenue generation proposal ng outgoing economic team.

“Imposing new taxes, deferring personal income tax reductions and repealing some tax exemptions are some of the proposals of the Department of Finance to the incoming Marcos Administration to raise the much-needed government revenues.However, we leave this matter, and other ways to mobilize resources, to the wisdom of the President-elect’s Economic Team”.
